Zodiac Daily Child Safety Standards

If a child is in danger right now, call 911 (or your local emergency number). Then report it to NCMEC's CyberTipline: report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

Zodiac Daily's readings are for everyone. Its Sign chat (sign lounges, zodiac matchmaking and private chats) is for adults 18 and older only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page says what we forbid, how to report it, what we do about it, and how to reach us.

1. Our standards: zero tolerance

• Everyone in Sign chat must be 18 or older. The app works out your age from the birthday you gave it, and Sign chat stays closed if it's under 18. Joining also needs a Google sign-in and ticking "I'm 18 or older and I'll follow the community rules". Our servers refuse any chat or matchmaking profile without that confirmation and an age of 18+. Accounts that appear to belong to someone under 18 are removed.
• Banned everywhere in Sign chat (lounge posts, matchmaking profiles, private chats, names and bios):
  • Any sexual content involving anyone under 18, whether real, drawn or made with AI (CSAM).
  • Sexualising children in any way, including sexual comments about a child.
  • Grooming: trying to contact, befriend or win the trust of a child for sexual reasons, or trying to meet a child for sex.
  • Sextortion: threatening to share someone's intimate pictures unless they send more pictures, money or anything else.
  • Trafficking: offering, selling or buying a child for sex, or helping anyone do it.
  • Asking for, offering or sharing any of the above.
• Breaking these rules gets the account removed and banned, and we report it to NCMEC's CyberTipline, which passes reports on to the police (section 3).

Sign chat has no photos, videos or file sharing at the moment: text only. Everyone is shown with their initial and sign instead of a picture.

2. How to report it

Everything people write in Sign chat can be reported. The person you report is never told who reported them.

• A lounge post: press and hold the post, pick a reason, then Report and block.
• A matchmaking profile: Report / block on their card.
• A private chat: Report at the top of the chat.
• Pick "Might be under 18" as the reason for anyone who seems to be a child.
• Blocking works both ways and everywhere in chat: they can't like you or message you, and any match between you ends.
• By email: happydead313@gmail.com, subject "Child safety". You don't need an account. Tell us where it is (the person's name in the app, their sign, the lounge or what their profile says, and roughly when). Please don't send us the picture or screenshot it: just tell us where to find it.

3. What we do

• We review every report, and treat child-safety reports as the most urgent.
• We remove the content and the account, and ban the account from making a new chat profile.
• We report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to NCMEC's CyberTipline (as US law requires) and keep what we're legally required to keep for the investigation. We co-operate with police.
• Lounges block links, phone numbers and social-media handles, so strangers can't move a child (or anyone) to another app from a public room. Private chats only open when both people said yes.
